It was two years ago on September 18th that Sterling came to BSRA. We celebrated the weekend by a rousing good romp around wills horse park for a local hunter jumper show. Sterling and Kim glided around the ring place two 5th over 14 other riders. : ) We’re always so proud of him when he gets noticed.
New stills of Sterling from additions to scenes 1 and 2. really falling in love with how easy this character is falling out of my hand now. For the first time I’m happy with the anatomy and character of a horse all at once. : )
Read any better? Quick scribbles I spit out at the horse show this weekend while I pondering re writing this scene sans Kim.

At my senior 2 milestone it became appearent that many changes need to made to bring this film to it’s full potential. My heaviest criticism fell upon Kim’s character design. Not sure what her role will be in the future or if we’ll be seeing her at all in the film, but I went home and drew some more Kim in angst post critique. What would you know, drawing people is hard. I’ve been so focused on horse locomotion, it’s hard to switch gears. Really took an hour of loosening up before I could come close to creating something ‘breathable.’ My gestures at least reaffirmed that I’m not a totally bad draw-er.
Just had to share, another blip from scene 3.
